Uncommon Schools Troy is focused on developing improved public school options for upstate New York community of Troy. Its elementary school and middle school are modeled on and developed in partnership with the most effective college preparatory, urban public middle schools in the country. The schools are overwhelmingly consistent and similar in operating philosophies and methods, but no two schools are exact duplicates. Uncommon Schools Troy will grow to serve approximately 500 students.
