North Star Academy Charter School of Newark

North Star Academy is governed by an eight-member Board of Trustees, in accordance with the school's charter. Six trustees are appointed for two-year terms and two trustees -- the President and Vice-President of the North Star Parent Council -- are elected by the school's parents at an annual meeting.
