In January and March 2009, Kings Collegiate Charter School students took the New York State Exams in Mathematics and English Language Arts. Although the assessments are administered only four to six months into the school year, respectively, Kings 5th graders did extremely well on the Math exam and well with room for improvement on the ELA exam.Kings 6th Graders excelled on both exams.

We found the graphs of 5th grade ELA performance vs. 6th Grade ELA performance particularly interesting becuase they show how great a difference a year at Kings Collegiate can make.
