Marie Hamlett
Organizational Learning Coordinator
Marie Hamlett joined Uncommon Schools in February 2010 as Office Support Staff and transitioned to the role of Human Capital Coordinator in October 2010. Prior to joining Uncommon, Ms. Hamlett was a Development Associate/Special Events Coordinator for Urban Youth Alliance International, a non-profit that runs an alternative to incarceration program for court-involved youth in the Bronx. Previously, Ms. Hamlett was a Foreign Language Teacher at Jilin Huaqiao Foreign Languages Institute where she taught conversational English to college freshman students in Changchun, China. After China, Ms. Hamlett knew she wanted to continue the fight against educational inequality and is excited to be a part of Uncommon working toward this mission. Ms. Hamlett holds a Bachelor of Arts from Bay Path College in Business Administration.
