Senior Director of Finance
Anne joined Uncommon Schools in the summer of 2010, after earning her MBA from Columbia Business School where she was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society and was awarded the Nathan Gantcher Prize for Social Enterprise. Anne's commitment to education reform stems from her work with a Washington, D.C. nonprofit that helps students achieve grade-level competency in reading and math. In addition to redeveloping the K-12 mathematics curriculum, Anne, as Manager, led a replication effort that more than doubled the program's earned revenue. Following her work in D.C., she taught high school mathematics and chemistry in Miami, Florida and founded an educational consulting and tutoring company through which she facilitated professional development courses for teachers and administrators; provided individualized student instruction; and developed a curriculum for a national entrepreneurship education program. Anne graduated Summa cum Laude from Washington University in St. Louis where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and earned a Master of Science from Northwestern University as a National Science Foundation Fellow.
