John Costello
Video Analyst
John Costello joined Uncommon Schools in August of 2009. As a video analyst, he’s watched countless hours our champion teachers, and captured some of their very best moments. In 2010, he began digitizing Uncommon’s video library and has greatly improved the accessibility of our outstanding video clips. He has also assisted with developing the 5-8 Reading Taxonomy and co-taught 7th Grade Writing at Troy Prep in September of 2011. John earned a BA in History at Union College in 2008, and a MA in Education from Union Graduate College in 2009.
