Dan Maguire
Associate Director of Recruitment
Dan Maguire joined Uncommon Schools in the summer of 2010 as an Associate Director of Recruitment. Previously, he worked as a 7th grade ELA and Social Studies teacher in Philadelphia through Teach For America. While teaching, Dan coached basketball and directed the school musical. He also earned a M.S. in Urban Education from the University of Pennsylvania. Originally from Northern Virginia, his passion for urban education stems from his studies and work as an undergraduate at the College of William and Mary where he was employed in the Dean of Students and Admissions office while receiving a B.A. in Government.
