Kara Christianson
Senior Associate Director of Recruitment
Kara Christianson joined Uncommon Schools in September 2009, after serving as a Curriculum Specialist at Teach For America’s Los Angeles Institute. Prior to this, Ms. Christianson was a Teach For America corps member in Los Angeles, where she taught 6th grade math and science. She also previously worked with Iridescent, a non-profit committed to teaching high-level physics concepts in urban classrooms. Ms. Christianson holds a double major in Business Administration and Theatre Arts from the University of Puget Sound, and an MA in Elementary Education from Loyola Marymount University.
