Dana Lehman
Managing Director, Uncommon Boston
Dana Lehman joined Uncommon Schools in July 2010 as Managing Director of the Preparatory network. She previously served as Co-Director for Curriculum and Instruction at Roxbury Prep for six years. Roxbury Prep has been one of the highest-performing schools in Massachusetts, with the top 8th Grade Math MCAS scores in 2007 and 2009. In 2009, Roxbury Prep’s 8th graders were 96% Advanced/Proficient in Math and 98% Advanced/Proficient in ELA. In addition, 80% of Roxbury Prep’s graduates are enrolled in college. Ms. Lehman also served as an eighth grade Science teacher and the Enrichment Coordinator at Roxbury Prep. Prior to Roxbury Prep, Ms. Lehman taught Physics at Fort Worth Country Day School and Radnor High School. She also served as Director of Summerbridge Fort Worth, a non-profit academic enrichment program. Ms. Lehman holds a B.A. in Physics from Swarthmore College and an M.A. in Educational Studies from Tufts University.
